c: No paysites, Simsdom, etc, don’t be an ass and so on. ToU: Do not upload to any platform, and don’t edit my recolors, please. If you have Luumia’s body redux males will have hip bones and 3D nipples unless you pair the tail with a top, and females will have 3D nipples when bathing (not something I’m worried about). See my previous ramblings about the tails here: first, second, third, last.ĭisabled for random (but still sometimes shows up on newly generated mermaids in CAS? - not sure why - will look into it later) All merfolk, especially females will keep their scales when they bathe. Shows up over any item with a sort layer below 15049 (tattoos, skin details, etc, whether CC or not). ![]() Other info: Technically this is a new mesh (for the females) even though it looks no different. Palette: EA originals (There wasn’t a set of scales that matched the green bio-luminescent tails, so I made one myself to match both tails!)Ĭategories: E-T in …Tails (which are categorized as swimsuits) Any nude top should work and I have included one to download if you don’t already have one. ![]() Sort of requires: A nude top for the females, but only if you don’t want to pair the tail with a bikini top. Requires: Island Living because, you know, new occult And after that RECOLORS GALORE.ĭownload info under the cut Did you find me through Simsdom, Honeysims or another site riddled with ads? Click here! Later on I will be releasing sets with the symmetrical and asymmetrical versions separated, and I’m going to make a ‘clothing’ top of the scales merged together. These particular scales are both tops merged together because options. The reason these tails now exist is because when my mermaid took a bath her scales were taken off and I thought “no, technically the scales are apart of the body and can’t just be taken off so easily.” So I immediately started working on adding them to the body. ![]() I had also given up on the specular when trying to fix the seam and wound up with no seam and bad quality but came back to it on Thursday night and managed to make it perfect on Saturday. When I’ve got more experience under my belt I will come back and update these, but the specular really shines (ha) and you can’t even notice that the torso scales don’t have shadows. I tried adjusting the bump map, but kept getting really bad, noticeable seams (which were originally in the specular and they just… magically disappeared which I still don’t understand but I’m not really gonna question it), and I’ve decided to leave the original tail bump map in place. That included merging two meshes together, adjusting the speculars (biggest troubles) multiple times over a span of days, and changing the sort layer. I went into this not knowing how to do (or not knowing that I needed to do) half of what I wound up learning and doing. So, thank you so much to My questions fell on a lot of dead ears but these four came to the rescue, and I really appreciate that! I had a lot of help from a few people and without them I wouldn’t be releasing these right now. These tails were a giant pain in the ass, but I’m stubborn and didn’t want to give up hours and full days of work that I had already done on them. OKAY SO I FINALLY FINISHED AND THEY’RE AMAZING
